The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba noted on December 26, 2022, that the US government had developed a plan to prepare the Patriot air defense battery to be launched in Ukraine in less than six months.

The package of US military aid to Ukraine announced on December 21, 2022, in the amount of 1.85 billion dollars includes the provision of one battery of the Patriot missile complex with ammunition.
Dmytro Kuleba said he was “absolutely satisfied” with the results of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to the United States last week.
“The United States government has developed a special plan to prepare the Patriot missile battery for launch in the country in less than six months, while training usually takes up to a year,” explained Ukrainian Foreign Minister.
The US Department of Defense also predicts that Ukrainian military will need several months to properly prepare to work with the air defense system.
