Ukrainian World Congress calls attention to the possibility of future similar Russia’s cyber attacks

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) calls attention to the introduction by the U.S of additional sanctions against Russia.

These sanctions were provided in response to Russia’s cyber attacks during the U.S. 2016 Presidential election.

UWC draws attention to the possibility of similar cyber attacks by the Russian Federation, particularly during future elections in European states in 2017.

“The Ukrainian World Congress calls upon the international community, including non-governmental organizations, to be on heightened alert and take necessary measures to protect themselves from various cyber attacks which are being actively waged by the Russian Federation,” said UWC President Eugene Czolij.

As reports the official website UWC joins in condemning the attempts by the Russian Federation to influence the electoral process of another sovereign state.
