Ukrainian police opened more than 71,000 cases related to the Russian crimes in Ukraine

The press service of the National Police of Ukraine informed on April 10, 2023, that the police have opened a total of 71,015 criminal proceedings against the crimes of Russians and their accomplices in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.

“Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, investigators of the National Police of Ukraine have initiated 71,015 criminal proceedings on the facts of crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine by servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and their accomplices,” reported the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

58,891 cases were opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of rules of the warfare), 9 193 – according to Art. 110 of the Criminal Code (Trespass against territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine ), 2,689 – under Art. 111 (High treason), 37 – under Art. 113 (Sabotage) and others.
