Ukrainian military units performed 196 fire missions to support the advancement of the Armed Forces in the south.
“Russian troops are trying to defend themselves, but in some directions they are forced to retreat, leaving positions. Our missile and artillery units carried out 196 fire missions, providing support for the advance of the troops. Russian Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down by our anti-aircraft missile unit during an attempt to launch an air strike on our positions in the Berislav district of the Kherson region. Russian losses in manpower, weapons and equipment are being investigated.”
He also noted that the troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued fire control of the occupied territory, striking areas where Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, as well as its control points and logistics facilities.
