Ukrainian military liberated 3,000 km2 from Russian troops in the south of Ukraine

According to the Head of the Press Center of the Operational Command “South” Natalia Gumeniuk, the area of the territory liberated from Russian troops in the south of Ukraine has already reached more than 3,000 square kilometers as of November 11, 2022, although just yesterday the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian army were talking about 260 square kilometers.

At the same time, Natalia Gumeniuk noted that the command of the Defense Forces of Ukraine was aware of the fact that there were still units of the Russian army in these territories, which would “probably try to create sabotage measures.”

“We continue our work in this direction. Therefore, we are in no hurry to announce the liberation of the territories. Although their area has already increased tenfold. If the previous day we were talking about 260 square kilometers, today it is more than 3,000 square kilometers of liberated territories,” said the Head of the Press Center of the Operational Command “South”.
