“As of today, more than 1,170 square kilometers in the Kherson direction have been liberated since the beginning of active actions. The work continues both on the consolidation of territories, and on cleaning, as well as carrying out stabilization measures in the region because Russian troops leave “surprises” [mines – ed.] in the settlements,” the Head of the Press Center of the Operational Command “South” noted on the air of the telethon.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian soldiers liberated 500 km2 in the Kherson region from Russian military.
