The press center of the command of the Naval Infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on March 17, 2023, that the units of the Naval Infantry as part of the created groups continue to perform tasks related to repelling full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

“Thus, during the last week, Ukrainian military managed to destroy: 111 Russian servicemen, 8 infantry fighting vehicles, 6 tanks, 2 artillery systems, 4 mortar crews and 1 observation post of the Russian army,” informed the press center of the command of the Naval Infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, the Naval Infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with their colleagues in the groups, are putting efforts to ensure the safety of navigation to overcome the food crisis.
“During the last week, within the framework of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, 25 ships left Ukrainian ports with almost a million tons of grain and other foodstuffs on board,” added the press center of the command of the Naval Infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
