Ukrainian hospitals received $1M worth of medicine from Japan

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine noted on January 9, 2023, that hospitals in the most war-affected regions of Ukraine received medicine worth $1 million with the support of Japan.

“29 health care facilities in the regions most affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine received medical drugs with the support of the non-governmental organization Peace Winds Japan (PW) worth $1 million,” said the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian hospitals have already received 1,101,898 units of medical drugs, including more than 90 names. The charitable organization “100% Life” delivered drugs to medical facilities in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv regions and the city of Kyiv.

Aid is provided with the support of Peace Winds Japan and Japan Platform.
