“After my visit to Brussels, where the Ramstein meeting was held at the initiative of the United States, everyone heard that Ukraine’s number one priority is anti-aircraft, and anti-missile defense systems. Our partners understood this very well and today they are primarily focused on strengthening the protection of our skies. These are the new Hawk 23 systems, which I have already mentioned; German air defense IRIS started working; NASAMS is already on its way with Ukrainian soldiers trained on them. We will also receive the Crotale system from French partners,” explained the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

In addition, as the Minister says, systems for combating Russian UAVs, as well as drones, which are needed for reconnaissance and the work of artillery of Ukraine, are expected within the scope of assistance from partner countries.

According to Oleksiy Reznikov, Ukraine’s partners are determined for long-term cooperation and support.
