The Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted on February 28, 2023, that the Ukrainian aviation has carried out more than 4,400 airstrikes against the positions of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

“During the year of the war, the strike aviation of the Air Force carried out more than 4,400 group airstrikes against Russian strongholds, positions, logistics, combat equipment and manpower. More than 5,300 sorties were made for fighter cover,” informed the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the effectiveness and result of the combat work of aviation directly depend on correct and accurate navigational calculations.
“It is the navigator who quickly selects the optimal flight route, the order of overcoming Russian air defense, reaching the target, and selecting the necessary means of destruction, calculating the fuel for the mission, and so on,” added the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
