The spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat noted on November 2, 2022, that Ukrainian aviation attacked Russian air defense equipment daily with the help of American HARM missiles. Not alone air defense system of the Russian army was destroyed by these missiles.

According to the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the destruction of Russian anti-aircraft means primarily affects the advancement of the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the key factor of superiority on the ground is “aviation support”.
“If in the future we receive even better gifts [new air defense systems, missiles, etc. – ed.] from our Western partners, then Russian air defense will have difficulties, in particular, the S-300 systems which continue to attack front-line Ukrainian settlements,” added the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat.
