Oleksandr Pavliuk, the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine informed on April 2, 2023, that during the week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 4,000 Russian servicemen and destroyed 224 pieces of weapons and military equipment.

“During the week from March 27 to April 2, 2023, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed about 4,000 Russian personnel. Weapons/military equipment of Russian troops suffered significant losses: 23 tanks, 39 armored combat vehicles, 56 artillery systems, 5 anti-aircraft guns, 2 air defense systems, 51 vehicles, and 14 special vehicles,” explained the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
According to Oleksandr Pavliuk, Ukrainian military shot down 1 Russian plane and 33 unmanned aerial vehicles.
In addition, the Ukrainian army eliminated about 174,550 Russian soldiers from February 24, 2022, to April 2, 2023, including 560 during the last day.
Ukrainian troops repelled more than 70 Russian attacks in 4 directions on April 2.
