The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to successfully resist Russian troops. Over the past day, it was possible to destroy 36 Russian soldiers, 5 warehouses with ammunition, and hit 14 Russian air defense systems in the south as of October 12, 2022.

Ukrainian aviation carried out 14 strikes against the deployment of Russian air defense systems and areas of concentration of weapons, equipment and manpower.
“According to confirmed data, it is known that the Russian army lost 36 rockets, a tank, 2 fuel tanks, 2 units of auto-armored equipment, 3 large-calibre artillery systems, 4 helicopters and 5 warehouses with ammunition. Final losses are still being investigated.”
Rocket and artillery units of the Ukrainian army completed more than 190 fire missions.
Russia continues to use kamikaze drones for bombing peaceful settlements. During the day, such drones were shot down over the Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions in the area of responsibility of Operational Command “South”.
“A ship group of the Russian fleet of 12 warships is maneuvering in the same area [of the Black Sea – ed.]. 3 large descent ships, 2 surface-to-air missile carriers with 16 missiles of Kalibr type are ready for use.”
