The Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that this night on January 26, 2023, the Ukrainian military destroyed all 24 Iranian-made kamikaze drones, which Russia used to attack the territory of Ukraine.

“On the night of January 26, Russian troops resumed attacks on Ukraine with the Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones,” said the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is clarified that the launch of attack UAVs was carried out from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.
“All 24 drones were destroyed by anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, in cooperation with air defense units of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine,” added the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The majority of kamikaze drones were destroyed in the center of Ukraine.
In addition, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Serhii Popko reported that about 15 Russian drones were shot down over the capital of Ukraine.
