The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that air defense of Ukraine shot down 6 Russian air targets in the east of Ukraine on January 23, 2023, including two airplanes and a helicopter.

“On January 23, in the eastern direction, units of anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two Russian Su-25 attack aircraft, a Ka-52 attack helicopter, two Kh-59 guided air missiles, and an Orlan-10 operational-tactical UAV,” reported the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, Russian troops have already lost 287 airplanes and 277 helicopters, and 1,894 operational-tactical UAVs in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian army eliminated 121,480 Russian soldiers since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 720 of which have been killed on January 22, 2023.
