“We are moving forward. We are ready for peace, peace for our entire country,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy told the Ukrainian military.

The Ukrainian President also thanked NATO and other allies for their support in the war against Russia and said that the supply of High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) significantly strengthened Kyiv.

Answering journalists’ questions about where Ukrainian troops can advance further, he said: “Not Moscow. We are not interested in the territories of another country.”

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy was asked why he is taking such a risk while arriving in Kherson.

“It is important to be here, everyone takes risks. Soldiers take risks every day, it is important to be here, to support people, we are talking about Kherson here. And humanly, I want to receive emotions and energy from people,” added the President of Ukraine.

The following photos show how the residents of Kherson meet the President of Ukraine with tears in their eyes.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine entered Kherson on November 11, 2022, which had been under Russian occupation for more than eight months.
