Ukraine’s Foreign Minister discussed details of EU-Ukraine summit with EU High Representative

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba wrote on Twitter on January 6, 2023, that he discussed with EU High Representative Josep Borrell the preparation for the upcoming EU-Ukraine summit, as well as military aid to Ukraine, sanctions against the Russian Federation, and Iranian-Russian cooperation.

“I had a call with Josep Borrell, discussing in detail the preparations for the upcoming Ukraine-EU summit on February 3, 2023. We have outlined our expectations and focused on a format that will ensure its success. We also discussed military aid, sanctions, and Iran-Russia cooperation,” noted the Foreign Minister of Ukraine.

The EU-Ukraine summit will be held on February 3, 2023. The topic of the summit may be the continuation of support for Ukraine. Leaders can also assess Ukraine’s path to membership in the bloc. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the last, 23rd EU-Ukraine summit was held on October 12, 2021, in Kyiv.
