“During our call, Josep Borrell and I discussed latest contacts of Ukraine and the EU with China, as well as ways to deepen ties with countries of Latin America. I also called on HR/VP to urge EU member states to speed up the delivery of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine,” tweeted the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

At the same time, after the talks with Dmytro Kuleba, Josep Borrell, commenting on the conversation between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, emphasized that any significant initiative for peace should be aimed at achieving fair peace – based on Ukrainian conditions.
