Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe Dmytro Kuleba has said that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov mentioned ”visa discrimination” of Russians in Russian-occupied Crimea after Ukraine had signed EU visa waivers.
”Sergey Lavrov has just performed a solo program… The author also presented his new hit `Visa discrimination of Russians in Crimea,`” Kuleba wrote on Facebook on Friday while commenting on Lavrov`s statement at a meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Kuleba noted that a visa-free regime for Ukraine took the Russians to the very depths ”if they are already `singing` in this way.” In addition, this also says a lot about the mood in Crimea, he said.
Earlier, on May 17, an official ceremony took place in the European Parliament to sign a legislative act under which a visa-free regime with the European Union would be introduced for citizens of Ukraine.
