Rodion Sitdikov won a gold medal in the shot put on the first day of the games in the Netherlands, and Artem Lukashuk and Ivan Geretsun took silver and bronze in the long jump.
“Rodion Sitdikov won gold in the shot put with a result of 9.46 m!” – it is said in the message.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Sitdikov on his victory. “We are infinitely proud! Ukrainians are truly unconquered!” – he wrote on Facebook.
Artem Lukashuk and Ivan Geretsun brought silver and bronze to Ukraine on the first day of the competition in the long jump. The result of Artem – 5.20 m., Ivan’s result in the long jump is – 5.10 m.
