“A dictator who tries to build an empire will never overcome the love of freedom among the people. The world will be free! Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia. Because free people don’t want to live in the dark. There will be a better, brighter future, built on rules and democracy, a future full of hope and light, dignity and decency, freedom and opportunity. For God’s sake, this man can’t stay in power.”
In his speech, Biden called on the world’s democracies to unite to fight against dictators and the violence of authoritarian regimes. He assured that the United States and the Western world are on the side of Ukraine.
