Ukraine will cope with Russia’s ban to carry out transit flights through its aviation area, Ukrainian Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko told reporters on Thursday.
“I think we will survive the Russian ban to fly across its territory. Moreover, it is dangerous,” Petrenko said.
In turn, member of the Georgian Parliament Giorgi Vashadze noted that with this kind of bans Russia isolates itself on the international scene, but does not hinder aircraft traffic. “It is an act which is done in agony. This is ridiculous,” Vashadze said.
A reminder that on Thursday Russia has stopped transit flights of Ukrainian airlines through its airspace to Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Turkey.
