Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expects to complete all preparatory steps for the introduction of a visa-free regime with the European Union by the Riga summit of the EU and Eastern Partnership countries, which is scheduled for the first half of 2015.
He said this at a joint press conference with EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini in Kyiv on Tuesday, the presidential press service reported.
“We have reached agreements, and I am confident that Ukraine will demonstrate its determination to complete the procedure of the implementation of the visa regime liberalization by the Riga summit,” Poroshenko said.
