Ukraine will soon call on the UN General Assembly to recognize Russia as a sponsor of terrorism.
Ukrainian Permanent Representative to the UN Yuriy Sergeyev said this to reporters, RBC online news website reported.
“The draft resolution that will be submitted to the UN echoes the declaration by the Ukrainian parliament on recognition of Russia as an aggressor country,” he said.
Sergeyev also warned of the possibility of a “huge war” if the separatists take more territory or build a corridor to southern Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula, which Russia annexed almost a year ago.
