Russian troops have intensified shelling of the border areas, therefore all components of the security and defense sector of Ukraine strengthen these directions.

“The enemy continues to shell the territory of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, this happens every day. Recently, we have noticed that more shelling falls on the Sumy region,” said the spokesman, adding that the invaders use barrel artillery, mortars, and rocket launches from airplanes.
Demchenko noted that neither on the border with Russia nor on the border with Belarus, there are currently no formations of strike groups that could carry out a repeated invasion of the territory of Ukraine. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Armed Forces and other components of the security and defense sector are strengthening these directions.
“Everything necessary is being done to strengthen both the borderline and the border in case the enemy or those who want to join him try to launch an attack on our country,” Demchenko emphasized.
