“We are talking about Ukraine’s full membership in the EU, including logistics. And this means that their narrow-gauge railway should enter Ukrainian logistics hubs, and vice versa. We are also talking about the creation of transshipment points. So the government should implement a very comprehensive program to expand ways to the West”, Kryvolap stressed.

He emphasized that the attraction of investments for the development of Ukraine is closely related to logistics, so the government must ensure that our goods reach European customers in a matter of days.

“There are also certain financial instruments that can be used – for example, cargo insurance for those carriers who want but are afraid to work with Ukraine. Such a combination of investments in infrastructure and financial mechanisms will make it possible to compensate for 80% of the exports that Ukraine used to have.”
According to the results of the first half of the year, exports from Ukraine fell by 55.6.
