“We have an agreement on a new program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). We received financial assistance from Great Britain, the World Bank, Germany, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, Iceland and Estonia. Norway continued the payment program for 50 thousand Ukrainians who are in difficult living conditions and suffered from Russian aggression,” reported the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

On March 28, the government passed an order to receive this year’s second grant from the US in the amount of 2.5 billion dollars – these funds will be directed through the project of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as the International Development Association. In addition, 150 million dollars will be provided by other partners, which will make it possible to attract 2 billion 660 million dollars.

“These funds will go to the salaries of rescuers, teachers, doctors, to help pensioners, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities and low-income families,” added Denys Shmyhal.
