“It is impossible to determine the time when 8 Zuzana 2 howitzers will be delivered to the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic because if there are further orders from Ukraine, we will give them a priority, “she said.

Currently, Ukrainian servicemen are training with howitzers. The maximum firing range of Zuzana howitzers is 40 kilometres.

State Joint Stock Company Konstrukta Defense, owned by the Slovak defense ministry, this week signed a contract for the commercial sale of eight Zuzana 2 howitzers to Ukraine. Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslaw Nad estimated that thanks to this contract, Konstrukta will receive an order that provides opportunities for further growth of the company. He considers this a great success for the Slovak defense industry.
