52 participants in a qualifying round according to their coefficients were divided into six “seeding” baskets before draw for qualifications of EURO 2017 junior football that is to take place on February 5 in Nyon, Switzerland.

After the draw, national teams will be divided into nine groups, seven of them will have six teams and two groups will have five teams.
Nine group winners will go directly to the final stage. The four best second place teams decide their fate for the other two places in the play-offs.
Euro 2017 host will be Poland and for the first time 12 teams instead of eight will compete for the European title.
