“Separately, there is our internal case against these criminals who tortured our people. We are starting to collect this information. We will look for all these people,” Zelenskyy stressed.

In addition, the President of Ukraine informed that he had agreed on a Joint Commission of Inquiry with the European Union. Prosecutors of different countries together with Ukrainian law enforcement officials would investigate these crimes. A procedure would be provided to find and punish those criminals who committed atrocities in Ukraine.

“A special commission will be set up with the participation of the Prosecutor General and a person from the Office of the President. I need to receive information on how this process is going on. I do not want this issue to be resolved in 20 years. I think that the mechanism will be very effective.”

“It is not profitable for anyone to delay this process. Unfortunately, there is a lot of evidence of crimes, and they will still appear. Think of Melitopol, Izyum, and other cities. We have no idea what was going on there.”
