“I met with the great friend of Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki. We discussed the restoration of our country from the consequences of Russian aggression.”

“We signed a Memorandum on strengthening cooperation in the railway industry. After theRussiaʼs full-scale war, Poland became a key logistics hub for aid to Ukraine. The cooperation between the two countries is particularly close, and such cooperation should be strengthened.”

The signed memorandum provides for the creation of a joint logistics enterprise between the two countries. Shmygal notes that this will dramatically increase the volume of rail transportation of Ukrainian exports to the EU and world markets through Europe.
