In a combat zone of Donbas, the tensest situation persists in the area Donetsk, Horlivka and Debaltseve. Russian-terrorist troops continue active efforts to oust the Ukrainian troops from their occupied positions, which is accompanied by fire, including the use of heavy weapons.
Coordinator of the Information Resistance group Dmytro Tymchuk wrote on his Facebook page.
“In the direction of Telmanove-Starobesheve, replacement of the regular army units for local terrorist groups is observed, whose level of professional training and discipline is much lower. These army units of Russia are thrown to Debaltseve and Donetsk,” he wrote.
In the coastal direction, rotation of Russian-terrorist forces is observed, in which replacement of Russian conscript soldiers for contract soldiers is made. The conscript soldiers return to Russia.
“Also, in the last 2 days, the arrival in Donbas from Russia of two new company tactical teams is marked, as well as a special operations unit of GRU of the General Staff (GRU – Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Federation). A battery was identified of Russian 240-mm mortar 2S4 Tulpan (4 units),” Tymchuk said.
