The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will ratify the Association Agreement with the European Union in the near future.
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov said this in an interview with Baltic news agency BNS, the press service of the Ukrainian parliament reported.
“The Ukrainian people have made their choice – European and Euro-Atlantic integration, and no aggression from Russia will stop us,” the speaker said.
Turchynov is attending a conference of parliamentary speakers of the Nordic and Baltic countries in Palanga, Lithuania, on August 17-19.
