Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Turchynov said that tomorrow, July 24, he will announce the dissolution of the faction of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
He said this at the parliament meeting on Wednesday.
“I inform you that yesterday the President signed amendments to the Rules of Procedure that create grounds for the dissolution of the Communist faction. Tomorrow the Holos Ukrainy newspaper (“Voice of Ukraine)” will publish the law, and it will take effect. I will immediately declare the dissolution of the Communist Party faction,” Turchynov said.
A reminder that President Petro Poroshenko signed the law amending to the Rules of Procedure of the parliament, according to which a parliamentary faction (parliamentary group), the composition of which becomes less than the minimum number of deputies, defined in the Rules of Procedures, 15 days after the date of occurrence of such a fact shall be declared by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada dissolved.
