Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov has announced the dissolution of the Ukrainian Communist Party faction in the Verkhovna Rada.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed amendments to the parliament’s rules of procedure, which paved the way for the dissolution of the Communist Party faction.
According to the speaker, the main argument was a reduction in the number of faction deputies from 33 to 23, which contradicts to the rules of procedure.
