American and Western weapons from partners are already arriving in Ukraine. It is already affecting the course of hostilities, such as the successful attacks on ammunition depots.

“At the same time, the US and its partners are looking for ways to accelerate new supplies. “Weapons systems and ammunition from the US are arriving, but not everything has arrived yet. This puts the Russians in a more vulnerable position. In fact, a lot of Western weapons are already in Ukraine. Javelins, Stingers, howitzers, etc. But now we are talking about new systems – NASAMS. They haven’t arrived yet, but they’re on their way.”
To the journalist’s question about whether it is possible to receive new equipment in July and August, Volker answered in the affirmative.
“Lend-Lease is a special way that allows the US administration to use its stockpiles and transfer them to Ukraine quickly. This is a process that has been going on for some time. We transfer systems to Ukraine and buy new ones in their place. The US and its partners are looking for ways to speed up this process,” he concluded.
