The Ukrainian military has launched offensive actions in many directions in the south of Ukraine.
The Head of the Press Center of the Operational Command “South” also emphasized that the situation in the southern direction remains quite tense, but is controlled by the Armed Forces.
“The enemy is demoralized, confused. It is difficult for him to gather forces for future maneuvers. He, having dug in and feeling a protected state among reinforced concrete structures, does not want to mount an attack.”
It should be noted that the counteroffensive actions of the Ukrainian troops have been going on for a long time and have so far been aimed at exhausting the enemy: fire control over logistics and transport arteries, destruction of military supply points, ammunition depots etc.
“The 109th regiment of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic withdrew from its positions in the Kherson region, Russian paratroopers supporting them fled the battlefield,” added Operational group “Kakhovka”.
The Operational group also published a video in which a Russian soldier complains that the Armed Forces of Ukraine broke through the first line of defense of Russian military in the Kherson region.
