The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration said on August 3 in his Telegram that the Russian troops began to use aviation more and more often, but they are unable to break through the defense of the Ukrainian military.

“The occupiers, who are unable to overcome the defensive fortifications of Ukrainian fighters, increasingly use aviation. Only on August 2, enemy airstrikes were carried out near eight settlements located on the administrative border of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions,” Haidai said.
According to him, Russian troops are trying to restrain the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and prevent them from being diverted to other directions.
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled nine Russian assault operations, forcing the Russians to retreat.
Russian troops continue to fire on populated areas under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Haidai has also noted that it is extremely dangerous to remain in houses that have been damaged by the Russian occupying forces in the Luhansk region.
