“Slovakia awarded Volodymyr Zelensky the Oleksandr Dubcek State Prize, a symbol of freedom and hope. Putin decided to repeat in Ukraine what the Soviet Union had done in Czechoslovakia in 1968. He uses military force to suppress the human desire for democracy – it is unacceptable!” wrote Edward Heger.
