The Bundestag has ratified the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement

On Thursday, March 26, Germany became the 15th country that has ratified the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement after Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Malta, Estonia, Sweden, Hungary, Poland, Croatia, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Ireland.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk wrote on his official Twitter:

“The Bundestag has ratified the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine!!! Danke, Deutschland!” reported Andriy Melnyk

As it well known, the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement that was signed on May 25 by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, must be ratified by all 28 EU member states.
