Ukrainian Armed Forces mine dangerous areas on the border with Belarus to prevent a possible invasion.

Nayev reported that measures are currently being taken to mine dangerous areas on the border with Belarus and to install engineered barriers.
Subdivisions of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine carry out measures to strengthen the state border of Ukraine in all areas which present a threat.
He spoke with the servicemen at the positions, got acquainted with the conditions of their service, assessed the level of defence and discussed tactical defence plans.
According to him, the situation is fully controlled by the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and other military formations and law enforcement agencies.
“The work continues both in the headquarters and military administration bodies, where experienced combat generals perform tasks every day to strengthen Ukrainian defense lines in all directions. The commanders of brigades, battalions, companies and platoons skillfully manage subordinate personnel directly on the ground.”
