Militants shell mortars on residential areas of Luhansk, setting the ATO forces up, National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
“Militants with mortar attacks intentionally destroy residential areas and infrastructure in Zhovtnevy, Leninsky, Kamenobrodsky, Artemivsky districts of Luhansk, purporting it to be the actions of the Ukrainian troops,” he said.
In addition, according to Lysenko, the militants damaged the pipeline between Horlivka and Dzerzhynsk of Donetsk region, which supplies gas to Mayaorsk district of Horlivka.
Now repair is impossible, since the field where the pipeline passes, is mined by terrorists.
