Terrorists have shelled a column of displaced persons with mortars and Grad multiple rocket launchers in Luhansk region, the Ukrainska Pravda online newspaper has reported, quoting the head of the press center of the North operational command, Anatoliy Proshyn.
“At about 09.40, during the evacuation of refugees from the settlements of Hriashchuvate and Novosvitlivka, militants delivered a massive fire strike against this column with mortars and Grad rocket launchers. As a result, there are many victims. People burned right in the cars in which they were being evacuated,” Proshyn said.
He said the number of victims had not yet been determined.
