Militants demand up to $70,000 for the bodies of killed Ukrainian servicemen, National Guard Commander Stepan Poltorak has said, according to NBN.
“Terrorists are demanding money for the bodies of dead servicemen – from $15,000 to $70,000,” Poltorak said.
He said that international rules envisage the unhindered provision of the bodies of servicemen for burial.
“Unfortunately, we are dealing not just with separatists, but with people who have no honor and dignity,” Poltorak said.
