Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on Tuesday, March 7, during his two-day visit to Washington, told U.S. senators of his vision of conducting negotiations with the Russian Federation.
”The only viable way to negotiate with Russia is from a position of strength and international solidarity,” Pavlo Klimkin said at a hearing ”On Russian Policies and Intentions Toward Specific European Countries” at the Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs of the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations.
”And no new agreements should be made with Russia until such time as they have delivered on their provisions and commitments [under Minsk Agreements],” said Klimkin.
Earlier, Klimkin told U.S. senators about the weaponry Russia had deployed in the occupied Donbas, and about the way Russia`s agents at the ICJ were attempting to cover up the fact.
