Sweden will provide Ukraine with Archer self-propelled guns, and 50 CV90 infantry fighting vehicles

The Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson noted on January 19, 2023, that Sweden would send a new package of military aid to Ukraine. The powerful Archer artillery system, and 50 CV90 infantry fighting vehicles will be transferred to Ukraine, as well as NLAW anti-tank guided missiles.

“Sweden will send 50 combat vehicles CV90 and the anti-tank robot NLAW to Ukraine. Ukraine’s desire for what they need most weighs heavily,” explained the Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson during the press conference on January 19, 2023.

This is already the tenth package of military aid that Sweden will provide to Ukraine. It consists of three parts, one of them is assigned to the Archer self-propelled guns – their transfer requires additional training.

Infantry fighting vehicles CV90 can be delivered within several months.
