Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden said on August 31, 2022, on Twitter, that the Swedish government presents the seventh military package for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with artillery ammunition worth SEK 500 million.

“Swedish Gov presents 7th military package to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense SEK 500 M worth of artillery ammunition. This is not the last package. Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) & Armed Forces will evaluate the possibility to provide Swedish artillery Archer, air-defence RBS70 & more. Sweden stands with Ukraine.”
Sweden may plan to transfer artillery installations and anti-aircraft missile systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine not as free aid, but as part of contracts.
Previously the Armed Forces of Sweden sent about 120 instructors to Great Britain to conduct basic military training for citizens of Ukraine.
The Minister of Defence of Sweden also allowed the possibility of producing weapons for the needs of Ukraine.
