Over the past six months about 18 UAH billion has been allocated from the state budget of Ukraine for the army, member of the UDAR parliamentary faction Pavlo Rozenko told reporters on Monday.
“Such large-scale funding has been carried out at least twice. And for the last six months about UAH 18 billion has been sent to the needs of the Armed Forces to support the army in addition to the budget funds,” Rozenko said.
He also noted that there are questions about the effectiveness of the distribution of the funds allocated.
“The state has to spend a lot of money to support the Armed Forces. On the other hand, we see that our guys at the front are naked, barefoot, without basic protection, sometimes without drinking water and proper nutrition. So now there are a lot of questions about the effectiveness of the distribution and use of the funds allocated,” the MP emphasized.
