The National Guard jointly with the Armed Forces units repelled three counter attacks of terrorists, who tried to capture Ilovaisk, Donetsk region.
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing.
According to him, terrorists use heavy military equipment and artillery.
The NSDC official representative said that currently, Ukrainian security forces fully control Ilovaisk.
