Ilovaisk is fully controlled by the ATO forces, but the fighting continues in the city.
The press service of the National Guard of Ukraine informed.
“Currently, the Ukrainian law enforcers control the town of Ilovaisk, although counter attacks of terrorists continue,” the military said.
According to information from the National Guard, militants use tanks and artillery. The law enforcers have already repelled three attacks of terrorists.
The National Guard also informed that Ukrainian subdivisions in Ilovaisk were bolstered by reinforcements.
“Reinforcements come to battalions Donbas, Dnipro, Shakhtarsk, Armed Forces of Ukraine, who continue the operation on liberation of Ilovaisk. Reinforcements come from the voluntary Battalion Azov,” the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine specified.
